Biography - Mario is the creator of Gift Grub which has appeared on the Ian Dempsey Show on Today FM since May 1999. In that time Mario has released 5 Gift Grub albums selling almost 200,000 records in the process. As an actor Mario has appeared in many stage productions including Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell (Olympia). The Dutymaster (The Peacock), and Othello (Tivoli). Film roles include Miracle at Midnight opposite Mia Farrow and Sam Waterson; The Treaty and For Seven Seasons. Mario is perhaps best known for playing Dr.Hanlon in Glenroe. Most recently Mario appeared as Keano in the sell-out success at the Olympia, I, Keano co-starring Risteard Cooper and Gary Cooke from Apres Match .
