Biography - Helen is a graduate of UCD. Her theatre work includes: Pearl in 'West", Marguerite in 'Don Juan' (for Pigsback), Mrs Bean in "Vampirella" (Project), Helen Bottom in "Eddie Bottom's Dream' (Belfast Opera House and National Tour), Bridie Flynn in "Tarry Flynn' (Abbey and Royal National Theatre, London), Celia and Audrey in "As You Like It" (Druid), Audrey in "As You Like It" (Gate), Hermione in "The Last Days of Ollie Deasy" (Macnas - Winnner of Best Production, Dublin Theatre Festival, 2000), Miss Prism in "The Importance of Being Earnest" (Townhall Galway and National Tour), Eileen in "Wired To The Moon" (Fishamble, Andrews Lane and National Tour), Bridgie in "Moll" (New York and Boston), Women 1 in "Men to the Right, Women to the Left" (Peacock), Misery (National Tour), The Sunshine Boys (Civic, Tallaght). Helen appeared as various characters in Barabbas...the company's 6 person production of "Midsummers Night Dream' at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin and on national tour and in Peta Murrays' "Wallflowering" at the Project Arts Centre. Film and TV work includes: "The Old Curiosity Shop", "Maigret", "Angela's Ashes", "A Love Divided", "Durango", "Dillusc", "Paths to Freedom", "How Harry Became a Tree", "No Tears", "Goldfish Memory", "In America", "Ella Enchanted", "Veronica Guerin", "Proof", "Hide and Seek", "Showbands", "Running to Stand Still". Most recently Helen appeared as various characters in Barabbas...the company's 6 person production of "Midsummers Night Dream' at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin and on national tour. Helen is soon to begin rehearsals for "Talking to Terrorists", directed by Barbara Ni Chaoimh, with Calyso Theatre Company. Helen has also written and directed three short plays for children based on works in the National Gallery of Ireland.
