Alison McKenna
Biography

Alison is from Dublin. She trained at the Samuel Beckett Centre,
Trinity College, Dublin. Her theatre work includes: Terry Johnson's
Hysteria for b*spoke theatre company (Project Arts Centre) (for which she was nominated for an Irish Times Theatre Award for Best Actress in 2007) ; Tom Murphy's version of The Cherry Orchard, The Importance of Being Earnest directed by Patrick Mason, The Colleen Bawn directed by Conall Morrisson (nominated for Irish Times / ESB Best Supporting Actresss Award ) and Tom Kilroys version of Six Characters in Search of an Author directed by John Crowley (all at the Abbey Theatre). Fay Weldon's adaptation of Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice directed by Alan Stanford, Hugh Leonard's version of Great Expectations and Brian Friel's Aristocrats (all at the Gate Theatre & Aristocrats also in NY ).
