Biography

Eanna MacLiam's acting career began on stage and he was a regular in Passion Machine's productions including the very first staging of STUDS in 1986. In 1988 he was cast as motorcycle courier, JOHNNY ONE, in the RTƒ soap drama, FAIR CITY, a part he played for a number of years. In the late Eighties and early Nineties he appeared in a number of Dublin films including JOYRIDERS, MY LEFT FOOT, HEADERBALL, THE COMMITMENTS and THE SNAPPER. He played Jimmy in THE GENERAL and starred as Tom Brady in the TV mini-series, AMONGST WOMEN. His other films include ANGELA'S ASHES, ON THE NOSE, BOXED and SUMMIT and he also appeared in the TV dramas, THE AMBASSADOR, and DDU. His most recent films inlcude THE HALO EFFECT (Fastnet Films) and he's currently appearing with Brendan Gleeson in Paul Merciers first feature film 'Studs' for Brother Films.
