Rich Loring

Rich Loring

Biography - Born and raised in Cork, Rich Loring now lives in Dublin. Formally trained with The London College of Music and Drama, from which he graduated in ’98 with a Teaching Diploma, Rich studied at UCC where he was an active member of Dramat. Dramat appearances include Orsino in ‘Twelfth Night’ (directed by Annabelle Comyn), ‘Freedom of The City’ and ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’. At the Granary Theatre, Rich appeared as Comic in Raymond Scannell’s hugely acclaimed ‘Breathing Water’, which won the ‘Most Innovative and Sexy Award’ at ISDA 2000 before touring to Edinburgh to rave reviews. Rich also appeared in Rough Magic’s ‘Seeds’ at the Project Theatre, in ‘Beats and Pieces’ by Raymond Scannell under Jim Nolan’s direction. Most recently he appeared in ‘Mind That ‘tis Me Brother’ for Meridian Theatre Company, directed by Johnny Hanrahan for the Cork Unfringed Festival and for the Dublin Theatre Festival Fringe (and on tour).
