Biography

Elaine graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting Diploma course (2004) and was a member of Dublin Youth Theatre from 2000 to 2003. Elaine has ballet training, 2 years of Le Coq ands Marceau training and classical singing experience.
Film and television work includes the feature film "Speed Dating" directed by Tony Herbert and as Dearbhla in 'Love is a Drug' a TV mini-series for Rough Magic Films/RTE2 and "The Politician" for RTE TV. Theatre work includes the Dublin Festival Fringe show 'Suddenly Last Summer' at the Focus Theatre she appeared as Audie in the Galloglass production of Tom Murphy's 'The Sanctuary Lamp' directed by Caroline Fitzgerald. Elaine was nominated by the Irish Times Theatre Awards 2006 in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance as Celia in Classic Stage Ireland's production of 'As You Like It', directed by Andy Hinds at the Helix Theatre in 2005.
Elaine appeared as Mairead in the first Irish production of Martin McDonagh's 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore' directed by Andrew Flynn for the Town Hall Theatre, Galway and on tour in 2006 and again in early 2007. Elaine is currently appearing in John Breen's new play "Falling Out of Love" directed by Mikel Murfi for Yew Tree Theatre company on tour across Ireland.
